1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions apply to all services provided by Akiru (“we”, “us”, “our”) a trading name of Aingaran LTD, including online tutoring classes, courses, and any related services. By enrolling in any of our programmes, you (“the parent/guardian”) agree to be bound by the terms outlined below.

2. Service Description

Akiru provides live, online tutoring classes delivered via Zoom for students preparing for UK 11+ entrance exams. Classes focus on past paper practice, timed exercises, and group-based feedback led by experienced tutors.

3. Enrolment & Waitlist

• Parents may register interest via our website form.

• Enrolment is confirmed via email once a suitable class slot and tutor have been arranged.

• We reserve the right to postpone or cancel classes if minimum enrolment is not reached.

4. Fees & Payment

​​

• All fees must be paid in advance via our online payment platform. We do not accept cash or cash equivalents. Direct bank transfers can be made in exception, pre-arranged with our accounts department.

• Missed classes are non-refundable unless due to exceptional circumstances, reviewed case-by-case.

5. Cancellations & Refunds

​

• You may cancel your child’s place with at least 7 days’ notice before the class or course start date for a full refund.

• Cancellations made within 7 days are non-refundable unless the class is cancelled by us.

• We do not offer refunds for missed sessions once a course has begun.

6. Class Conduct & Expectations

​

• Students must arrive on time and be prepared for each session.

• Parents are responsible for ensuring a suitable environment for online learning (quiet space, working camera/mic, printed materials if required).

• We reserve the right to remove students from classes if their behaviour disrupts learning.

7. Technology & Access

​

• Classes are delivered via Zoom. Parents are responsible for ensuring a stable internet connection and upto date versions of suitable software and hardware.

• Akiru is not responsible for issues caused by technical difficulties on the user’s side.

• Tutors may or may not use a digital whiteboard or tablet for live interaction.

• Accessibility and use of Accessible tools and technology is the responsibility of the parent. Accessibility of this site is governed by our Accessibility Statement.

8. Intellectual Property

• All course materials, teaching methods, and content provided are the intellectual property of Akiru.

• Materials may not be copied, shared, or distributed without prior written consent.

9. Safeguarding & Privacy

​

• All sessions are conducted in accordance with UK safeguarding best practices.

• Sessions may be recorded for internal training or safeguarding purposes.

• Personal data is collected and used in line with our Privacy Policy.

• Taking screenshots or recording of lessons by users is strictly prohibited and violates our privacy

10. Changes to Terms

Akiru reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated via email or posted on our website.
