These terms cover your use of akiru.co.uk. Akiru is the trading name of Kiruthika Aingaran, 27 Old Gloucester Street, London WC1N 3AX. Email: kiru@akiru.co.uk. By using the site you agree to these terms.

School information

Our school guides summarise what each school publishes about its admissions, with a link to the source and the date we last checked it. Schools change their dates and processes, so always confirm details with the school before applying or relying on a date. Akiru is independent and is not connected with, or endorsed by, any school or exam board. School names are used only to describe their admissions.

Our material

The guides, text, design and practice material on this site are our own work. You may read, print and use them for your own family's preparation. Please don't copy, republish, resell or use them to train other services.

Waitlists and messages

When you join a school's waitlist or send us a question, please give accurate details. We use them as our privacy policy explains.

No guarantees

We help children prepare; schools decide. We don't promise any outcome from using our guides, packs or tuition. We work hard to keep the site accurate and available, but we can't promise it will always be error-free or uninterrupted.

Our responsibility to you

Nothing in these terms limits our responsibility where the law doesn't allow it to be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or your rights as a consumer. We aren't responsible for losses that weren't foreseeable, or for business losses.

Links to other sites

We link to schools' own websites so you can check the source. We aren't responsible for their content.

Changes

We may update these terms; the version on this page applies.

Complaints

If you're unhappy with anything, email kiru@akiru.co.uk. We'll acknowledge your complaint within 5 working days and aim to resolve it within 14 days, telling you what we've done or why not.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts.
